The residents had a special guest on Saturday 26th January from Pets as Therapies Richard with Goldendoodle Jensen. The residents thoroughly enjoyed his company and all fell in love with him! Richard and Jensen will be coming in every month to see the residents.

The residents enjoy working on their art pieces every Monday afternoon with Pauline, they have done some excellent work! In the next few weeks the residents will be starting to make their Easter Bonnets, it will soon be here!  

On Thursday 17th January we had the lovely Annie Valerie in singing for the residents, she always put on a great show!  

On Wednesday 2nd January we took the residents to Thwaites Empire Theatre in Blackburn where they watched Peter Pan the Pantomime! It was a lovely day and all thoroughly enjoyed the performance including the yummy ice cream in the interval!

What a lovely day we had on New Year’s Day with all of the residents. The residents enjoyed a fabulous New Year’s Dinner with all the trimmings followed by a New Year’s quiz and games in the afternoon with some homemade mince pies!  

On New Years Eve the residents enjoyed getting ready for the big night ahead with a pamper morning followed by a game of Play your Cards right! We then held a party for our residents as we do every year in which we played various games to welcome the New Year in....

The residents enjoyed having a pamper morning on Christmas Eve ready for the big day followed by Christmas bingo with Enid and the staff and finishing with a lovely Christmas film and nibbles in the evening!
