On Wednesday 7th April the Residents enjoyed making some Victoria Sponge cakes in the baking class with Debbie and Mel. Star baker of the week went to Resident Paul who did a fantastic job.

What a lovely day we had at Hewlett Court on Good Friday, 2nd April, celebrating Easter by painting and decorating eggs then doing some Easter flower arranging in the afternoon. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

On Wednesday 31st March in the baking class with Debbie the Residents enjoyed making some Easter Cakes, they were eggselent!

On Wednesday 24th March, the Residents enjoyed baking some chocolate chip cookies with a gooey centre in the baking class with Debbie. They all loved how tasty they were!

To help raise money and support Red Nose Day Comic Relief on Friday 19th March we did a tombola, Superhero quiz and Cupcake sale! All went down a treat and we managed to raise £75 for this great cause. Thank you to the Residents for joining in with the games and staff...

We had a lovely day celebrating St Patrick’s Day on Wednesday 17th March. Firstly, with an Irish quiz and word scramble at our coffee morning followed by baking some shortbread Shamrock in the baking class in the afternoon.

On Mother’s Day, Sunday 14th March, we treated the ladies to a pamper morning with Prosecco and scones. A lovely day to spoil all the Mother’s, Grandmother’s and Great-Grandmother’s for all they do and continue to do.

On Wednesday 10th March in the baking class, some of the Residents enjoyed making some pizzas! By adding toppings of their choice, they thoroughly enjoyed them for their tea.
