Baking Scotch Eggs in the baking class with Debbie and Mel
The Resident's enjoyed making some Scotch Eggs from scratch in the baking class on Wednesday 23rd June. Some found it a little tricky, but they came out lovely and all enjoyed for their tea! Star baker this week was Sybil who did a fantastic job!
Final stage of Re-development
The very final stage of the Re-development commenced on Monday 21st June in which new doors were fitted throughout and the landing area, outside offices and reception area had a makeover!
Father’s Day Celebrations
To celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday 20th June, we treated all the men to a pie and a pint to thank them for all that they do. We hope all of the Father’s, Grandfather’s and Great-Grandfather’s had a lovely day.
Paul’s Trips Out
Resident Paul has been enjoying getting back out with carer Steph twice a week. They have enjoyed going out to Bury Market, having a scone and cup of tea in the cafe and also to see and feed the ducks at The Lido at Clarence Park.

Decorating cupcakes for Alzheimer’s Society Cupcake Day
In the baking class with Debbie and Mel on Wednesday 16th June, the Resident's did something a little different and decorated some homemade cupcakes ready for the Alzheimer's Society Cupcake Day the following day, they did a great job!
Celebrations for Her Majesty’s birthday
On Saturday 12th June, the Residents enjoyed a performance on the violin by Katie Fiddlestix followed by a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate Her Majesty’s birthday.

Theatre Trip!
On Monday 7th June, the Resident’s enjoyed an outing to the Theatre to watch a Monday Club Variety Show, all had a great afternoon!
Planting hanging baskets with Pauline
