On Wednesday 20th October, some of the Resident’s enjoyed an Indian Takeaway for tea.
We’ll Meet Again at Blackburn Empire Theatre
On Monday 18th October, some of the Resident’s enjoyed an outing to Blackburn Empire Theatre to watch the show ‘We’ll Meet Again’. The Resident’s loved the show which took them down memory lane.
Annie Valerie sings for Resident’s
We were delighted to welcome back Annie Valerie on Friday 15th October who put on a brilliant performance singing for the Resident’s.
Trip to Blackpool Illuminations
On Monday 11th October we set off on our travels to Blackpool! We first enjoyed fish and chips at Senior’s, Thornton followed by a ride down through the illuminations. All had a fantastic time!
Robin Darcy sings for Resident’s
On Friday 8th October, the Resident’s enjoyed a performance by Robin Darcy. He sang a variety of songs which allowed the Resident’s to join in for a sing song.
Movie Nights
The Resident’s enjoy a Movie Night every Wednesday evening at 6pm, they have enjoyed films such as My Fair Lady, True Grit and War Horse over the past month.
Pets as Therapy
On Tuesday 5th October, we had our monthly visit from Pets as Therapy, Goldendoodle Jensen with owner Richard. All thoroughly enjoy seeing him and feeding him treats!
Happy Halloween
We had a spooktacular day on Sunday 31st October at Hewlett Court for Halloween, with Halloween games, a quiz and some Halloween music, all had a great day!
Cagun Rascals
The Resident’s enjoyed a good singalong with the Cagun Rascals on Thursday 30th September!
Chinese Takeaway Night
To finish off a lovely day, some of the Resident’s enjoyed a Chinese Takeaway on Wednesday 29th September.
Fisher’s Mobile Farm!
The Residents had a fabulous afternoon on Wednesday 29th September with a visit from Fisher’s Mobile Farm, they brought a calf, a pig, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens and rabbits. It was wonderful, the Residents loved it!
