Clitheroe Town Centre in Bloom
In October of last year the ELMC made a Grant to Clitheroe Civic Society to purchase and stock three planters for Clitheroe Town Centre We have now received these pictures showing how the blooms are brightening up the Town Centre.
Feels Good Project
We had the ladies from the Feels Good Project performing for everyone on Monday 24th April! They did a great performance and had everyone dancing in their seats.
St George’s Day
The ladies and gents enjoyed celebrating St George’s Day on Sunday 23rd April with some scones and some patriotic music.
Blinda’s Bits and Bobs
We had the pleasure of having Blinda’s Bits and Bobs on Wednesday 19th April, the ladies enjoyed some shopping and bought some beautiful new accessories!
Indian Takeaway Night
The ladies and gents enjoyed an Indian Takeaway Night on Monday 17th April, all had a lovely time and enjoyed their meal.
Broken Column Dinner
Some of the ladies and gents enjoyed an afternoon out to the Broken Column Dinner on Sunday 16th April at Manchester Hall. They enjoyed a superb dinner followed by fantastic entertainment. A big thank you for inviting us to join in on a lovely afternoon!
Grand National sweepstake
The ladies and gents joined in with the Grand National sweepstake on Saturday 15th April, well done to Julie who came in 1st place with Corach Rambler, Mel who came in 2nd place with Vanillier and Ron who came in 3rd place with Gaillard Du Mesnil!
Friday Club
The ladies and gents enjoy having a tipple and a chat with staff in Friday club on a Friday afternoon!
Therapy Dogs
We had another visit from Maggie the Golden Retriever from Therapy Dogs on Wednesday 12th April with owner Gill. She brings lots of smiles to the ladies and gents, she loves having tummy rubs.

Easter celebrations
We hope everyone had a lovely few days celebrating Easter! The ladies and gents enjoyed various Easter activities over the Easter weekend including decorating some Easter biscuits and an Easter quiz. All enjoyed some Easter cakes and an Easter egg each.
Easter visit from St Joseph’s Primary School
We had a lovely visit on Thursday 6th April from the children at St Joseph’s Primary School who came to wish the ladies and gents a Happy Easter with cards and flowers. A big thank you and a Happy Easter!
