The morning started with the residents tucking into a full breakfast cooked by Hewlett Court cook, Mel and Buck’s Fizz.
The ladies, gents and staff later joined in the lounge for games of ring toss, dominos and play your cards right whilst being served brandy coffees and baileys coffees with mince pies. It was then time to enjoy a four course meal which included melon or prawn cocktail starters, a traditional New Years Lunch of turkey with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding with brandy sauce followed by a selection of cheese and biscuits.
The wine, port and sherry went down a treat too. A fabulous day was had by all!
