On Sunday 7th December, Henshaw’s Society for Blind People hosted its annual Christmas Party, generously supported by a £2,500 grant from ELMC. The funding contributed towards decorations, inclusive entertainment, food and drink, prizes, Santa, presents and other festive activities.

Around 200 visually impaired children and their families attended from across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.

This special, one-off event brings together families that Henshaw’s has supported throughout the year. For many, it is a rare and valuable opportunity to meet others who share similar experiences, reducing isolation and building lasting connections.
