The ELMC Spring Party 2026 was held on Friday 10th April at Stanley House, Audenshaw. Among the invited guests were the President of the Charity, RWBro Robert Frankl, and his wife Fiona, along with a number of Officers from the ELMC and the Province, accompanied by their partners.
Guests were warmly welcomed by Chairman of the Comfort’s Fund, WBro Alston Hall, Director of Operations Julie Ward, and members of the Committee. Just over 90 guests attended, including several ladies and gentlemen from Hewlett Court.
Attendees enjoyed an excellent three-course lunch, accompanied by the beautiful music of violinist Katie Fiddlestix, who performed throughout the meal. Following lunch, entertainment was provided by the duo Soul Men, who delivered a brilliant performance and soon had everyone up dancing.
During the glorious afternoon, the President, Committee Members, and Officers took the opportunity to circulate and chat with guests, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Fiona Frankl, wife of the PGM, and Julie Ward, Director of the ELMC, were each presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. In addition, every guest received a gift to commemorate the occasion.
The table flowers, thoughtfully arranged by the ladies at Hewlett Court, were given to one lady from each table to take home as a memento of the day.
A fabulous afternoon was enjoyed by all.
A big thank you goes to everyone involved in organising such a lovely event, to Stanley House for the excellent meal, and to the entertainers, Katie Fiddlestix and Soul Men, for making the afternoon truly memorable.
