On Friday 25th November the Bury District Charity Steward, Stephen Holland attended the Tor View School Campus where he had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for £2977.56 from the East Lancashire Masonic Charity.

Tor View School takes children from the of age 3 years old to the age of 19 years old and they take children who are unable to access mainstream education because of their disabilities.

The donation funded a new multi-sensory room designed to educate and stimulate children with the most profound disabilities.

Stephen presented the donation to Alison David, a teacher at the school. Alison, whose father is a freemason, contacted Stephen to see if we could be of assistance. Stephen and the ELMC were more than happy to help.

I can say that the multi-sensory room was amazing, the pictures, taken in the dark, really do not reflect how brilliant the room is and how much the kids enjoy and will benefit from it.
