On Monday 26th May, guests of the ELMC set off on their travels to Lytham, St Anne’s for the Annual Holiday 2025.
Over 60 guests of the Charity attended, a small number of the holiday makers enjoyed a light lunch at Hewlett Court prior to departure to St Anne’s by minibus. The remainder made their way directly to the hotel where they were greeted by Chairman of the Comforts Fund Committee Alston Hall, Julie Ward and Bev Schofield to welcome them for their stay at the Clifton Park Hotel. The accommodation provided seven nights bed, breakfast, evening meal and nightly entertainment. The guests enjoyed a week of fun, friendship and laughter.
On Wednesday evening, 28th May , the guests enjoyed a fabulous night out to Viva, Blackpool, for Viva “The Show” all had a wonderful time.
On Thursday morning, everyone enjoyed a few games of bingo with Mary and John, followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea prepared by the hotel with Wine Tasting.
On Friday morning after breakfast, all gathered for a quiz morning with our very own ‘Tomo’.
For the last night, Julie and Bev provided a drinks reception prior to dinner to end a fantastic trip away.
The feedback from the guests has been heart-warming. The hotel, as always, provided a warm welcome to all, with excellent staff who go out of their way to please. The facilities and food are superb. A fantastic holiday was had by all.
