The ELMC Annual Holiday for 2023 took place at the Clifton Park Hotel, St Anne’s on Sea from Monday 29 May to Monday 5 June.
The accommodation provided seven nights bed, breakfast, evening meal and nightly entertainment for just over fifty guests of the charity.
On Monday 29 May, a small number of the holiday guests enjoyed a light lunch at Hewlett Court prior to departure to St Anne’s by minibus. They were able to meet some of the ladies and gents at Hewlett Court and have a tour of the facilities.
On Tuesday 30 May the group enjoyed an evening out at Viva Blackpool to see Viva The Show. The show was fantastic and enjoyed by all who attended.
On Wednesday 31 May there was an afternoon vodka and rum tasting experience provided by the Spirit of Garstang, a local family run business. The guests enjoyed a lunch of sandwiches, scones jam and cream in preparation of the spirits to come.
During the week, the weather was fabulous with glorious sunshine for the whole seven days. The feedback from the guests has been heart-warming. The holiday has been described as ‘an amazing week of peace and relaxation, with lots of very nice people”. The hotel, as always, provided a warm welcome to all, with excellent staff who go out of their way to please. The facilities and food are superb. A fantastic holiday was had by all. A big thank you to Julie and the Team for organising a wonderful getaway.
