We all had a lovely long weekend celebrating Easter!
Our ladies and gents were each gifted an Easter egg on Easter Sunday, followed by a scrumptious cooked breakfast, a delicious minted roast lamb lunch, and carrot cake with cream for dessert. Tea time was just as delightful, with roast beef and chutney sandwiches and plenty of Easter cakes to enjoy.
Sunday afternoon was filled with fun and laughter as everyone took part in a variety of games, and today continued the celebrations with a ‘bunny’ hunt this morning – well done to Edna for finding the most hidden around Hewlett Court!
On Easter Monday, we announced the top 3 winners of our Easter bonnet competition – Brenda H came in 1st place, Hazel came in 2nd place and Paul came in 3rd place! All were very creative and decorated beautifully!
We then drew the Easter raffle, and revealed the winner of the ‘Name the Bunny’ competition – Sylvia won with the lovely name Suzie.
A huge well done and thank you to everyone who took part and helped us raise a fantastic £338 for the Hewlett Court Comforts Fund!
