On Friday 27th September we had the girls from Silvershed Theatre performing for the residents, they always put on an excellent performance and are one of the resident’s favourites!
Whilst they were here members of Bury District Freemasons attended to present a cheque for £2,300. This grant was following an application to the ELMC Grant Making Committee for assistance with new equipment such as a new speaker, projector, props and more to improve their performances. Their grant was successful and the Charity Steward – Chris Eccles presented the cheque alongside Steve Barton, Ken Lucas and Craig Hindle.
