Following the damage and aftermath of recent and ongoing floods the Provincial Grand Master of Cumberland and Westmorland, RW Bro Norman Thompson, has ring-fenced a fund to provide relief locally. Sir David Trippier, the Provincial Grand Master for the Province of East Lancashire, has been pleased to forward £4000 from the East Lancashire Masonic Charity to support this fund.
With further support from the Grand Charity, the Provinces of Cheshire, West Lancashire and other Provinces, over £50K has been raised thus far.
