A lovely day was had by all at Hewlett Court celebrating Valentine’s Day.
The day started with a quiz all about ‘Love’ followed by a four-course lunch in the dining room all decorated for the occasion with gifts of chocolate hearts for all the ladies and gents.
Later in the afternoon the residents joined in the lounge where Annie Valery serenaded everyone with love songs whilst they all enjoyed a tipple of their favourite drink.
The ladies and gents entered a raffle to be in with a chance of winning a Valentine’s Hamper. In the process, a total of £65.50 was raised for the Comforts Fund which will go towards the events and entertainment for the ladies and gents at Hewlett Court. Well done to winners Pat and Brian.
To end the day, the ladies and gents tucked into a delicious homemade cupcake made by cook Mel.
