On Tuesday 17th June the ladies and gents were treated to a lively and heart-warming visit from the local Beaver Scout group, who stopped by as part of their community Badge. The young scouts aged between 6 to 8, arrived full of energy and smiles, bringing handmade cards, pictures, biscuits and plenty of curiosity. They spent time chatting with the residents, asking questions about their lives, and even sang Happy Birthday to Resident Tom!
The visit created a lovely buzz throughout the building, with lots of laughter and great conversations.
The intergenerational exchange was just as valuable for the Beavers, who gained insight into the lives of older people while learning about kindness, respect and the importance of community. They certainly earned their badge!
Thank you for coming to visit and thank you for the biscuits, they were delicious!
